Week 3: Embracing the Challenge
Sometimes, a gift box full of responsibilities comes together at once; that’s how week three at my job felt for me. Not just because of my job, but other commitments I had in other areas of my life.
During this week, I had to learn to prioritize activities defining what was urgent, essential, and what could wait. Sometimes everything seemed to be important; in that case, I had to ask what was the specific deadline, then I calculated how I should manage my time in order to finish everything by the expected date.
The biggest lesson I learned this week was to communicate clearly, being honest when I don’t understand something, and don’t being afraid of asking for clarifications. After that, the only way to succeed is to get work done and do whatever it takes to meet expectations.
